The station site is about 1.2km away from the Xiangjiang River bank. The underground water seepage is large and there are many seepage points. How to make a good waterproof layer has become the key and most difficult point of construction control. The surrounding rock stratum of the station is weak and with a rich water layer, and the station is located underground. The construction environment is poor and the working face is narrow, so the construction challenge can be called a worldwide problem.
The bottom plate and side wall utilized the pre-sprayed and reverse bonded construction technology of Tuling® liquid rubber, and the roof was directly sprayed to realize fully covered waterproof effect.
