Product Description

TLS-8100AU spray-applied rapid-setting rubberized bitumen waterproofing coating consists of two components, A and B. Component A is a water-based rubber coating formulated from anionic rubber latex and a special nano-bitumen emulsion, with a solids content of 55%~75%; it is a water-based spray-applied coating. Component B is the curing agent, an aqueous solution formulated from electrolytes such as metal salts.

At ambient temperature, Components A and B are sprayed and atomized through the twin nozzles of airless spray equipment; the two fan-shaped sprays intersect and mix thoroughly outside the spray gun before adhering to the substrate surface. Under the action of the electrolyte, the material instantly breaks emulsion and sets, finally forming a dense, continuous and seamless coating.

Storage

1. Shelf life: 12 months. Skinning that may develop during use is a normal physical phenomenon; after effective filtering, all product properties and normal use remain unaffected.

2. Storage location: a cool, dry place.

3. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent air ingress.

4. Use as soon as possible after opening.



Packaging and Transport

The product is packed in clean, dry, tightly sealed drums.

Handle with care during transport; protect from sun and rain and prevent crushing and impact. In winter, protect the product from freezing during transport.


Application Precautions

1. The ambient temperature during application should be above 5 °C, and appropriate measures should be taken for winter application. Outdoor work should not be carried out in rain, snow or winds stronger than force 4, and application must not proceed when there is standing water, snow or ice on the substrate.

2. The substrate shall be treated to remove rust, dust and contamination, and waterproofing work may begin only after the prepared substrate has passed inspection. Depending on the substrate, appropriate types of primer and surface conditioner may be selected.

3. Before spraying, stir Component A slowly and thoroughly.

4. The spray gun should be held perpendicular to the substrate. Spray continuously, treating detail areas first and then the main field, building up to the design thickness in multiple intersecting passes. On vertical or sloping surfaces, spray from bottom to top, working from the lowest point upward. The overlap between two spraying passes shall be no less than 100 mm.

5. Apply reinforcement layers as specified in the design at internal and external corners, pipe penetrations, construction joints, metal roof panel joints, bolt locations and other details.

6. Application thickness: dry film thickness not less than 1.5 mm.
